LOL! Thats hilarious. You can't help but notice that Brown guys are being brought to this team (or rumoured) even though Brown has long since been fired.

- the quote should read:

LB: We need some defense and we need to cut the expensive half of the roster.

I guess LB should not have been such an insufferable, impatient, a-hole and he would have gotten what he wanted. Or do you think that Isiah would not have gone after these players just to spite LB?

oohah

Good luck Mike D'Antoni, 'cause you ain't never seen nothing like this before!

You might be right Oohah. Maybe Browns demeanor wore too much on Isiah and thats why things went south. Fact is, Isiah should have been well aware of what he was getting into, its not like Browns history was a secret or something. I'm happy as can be that Isiah is going after these guys, whether he listened to Brown or not, he's going after them and thats all I can ask for as a fan. This is why I wanted a coach like Brown becuase he knows what kinds of players to bring to teams to win. It would have behooved Isiah to not listen to what Larry was requesting. I'm just glad he listened to someone other than himself for once.

It should be:
LB: We need some more overpaid lazy veterans so I don't have to start the kids!

To be fair and consistent, are you going to say the same about Isiah if the rookies aren't getting 30 mpg each?

Isaiah is a big basketball business strategist.
He used Brown as a step to get back to couching... and out of NY...

I'd have no trouble criticizing any aspect of Isiah's coaching if it's anywhere near as bad as his job as a GM has been. 30 mpg is a silly cut-off but if lazy bums are playing ahead of superior, harder working players, I'll brutally criticize Isiah. I'm surprised you'd ask that.

That would work if only Zeke fired Brown! Dolan was the one who fired Brown. This circus just doesn't make much sense to even tell a joke about.
I'll never trust this' team again.

So what your saying is 'he got these players to mess Brown up'? Doesn't that work against Zeke now?

4949, I have no clue where you are getting that from. If you look at the chain of quotes above this writing I don't see how you can glean that I am saying Isiah got any players to mess Brown up. How would that work anyway?

That's just the way I took your quote. It was still a question, not a critizism.

Okay.

My point was that if Isiah is indeed adding "LB players" to the roster (Which I don't agree with by the way.), then all LB had to do to get the players he wanted was have a little patience and not act like such a hard-on in the meantime.

I certainly don't think Isiah tried to screw LB in any way, it was never in his interests to do so, so why would he?

Lastly, the reason I say that Isiah is not adding "LB players", is nobody knows what an LB player is. He's wanted to trade practically every player he's ever had!

Cool. One thing I do know. We'll never know what Browns method would have been, by all accounts of his past records, losing on arrival and then suddenly turning it all around the following years. Also, there is no actual footage of him wanting to move high salaried players. None I have ever seen anyway. This is only what Dolan told us. I still think Brown was stabbed in the back.
I'll never trust this' team again.
