Philadelphia 76ers guard John Salmons agreed to terms of a sign-and-trade deal with the Toronto Raptors on Thursday.

The Sixers received a 2007 second-round draft choice and a $2 million trade exception in the deal. Terms of the deal were not immediately available, but the Philadelphia Daily News reported on its Web site that Salmons agreed to terms of a five-year deal worth $23 million.

--Interesting. Raptors trying to be Suns of the East. Got alot of atheltic SF/SG's to go with Bosh/Bargani and a push it , pass first pg in ford. Not terrible.

well it was colangelo who built that phoenix team but the problem will be the coaching system d antoni really uses that system while im not sure about mitchell
