Well I have been reading a lot on this board about things the Knicks should have, could have, and didn't do. But the summer league seems to be going well, the draft picks are something we didn't expect but should be OK. Finally, the most important thing is that the negativity in the lockeroom stemming from the coach is gone.

Isiah will build these players back up - something Larry was known for doing, but for whatever reason he took it way too far in the breaking down process and he lost this team. He never got around to building anyone back up. I think Isiah is the right man for the job, maybe he shouldnt be GM, but he will be a good coach for these players.

Finally, my prediction for the season is we will see a much tougher, much more unified Knicks team on the floor. I think there will be some solid rotations, a set starting lineup, and an atmosphere much more pleasant compared to last season. What more could we possibly ask for after such an awful season? I think they are set up to be a lot more successful this time around.

Yeah...I ate some of the popcorn this morning.

I think there are 4 players that are serious problems:

Steve Francis
Jalen Rose
Mo Taylor
Jerome James

as much as I like what Zeke has done all over the rest of the roster, I hate these trades. JJ can stay around for pizza parties and if there is some injury to Curry. I sincerely hope Jalen and Mo Taylor don't sit foot on the court all season.

Francis is the big question mark to me. If his head is on straight, he'll be good. If it's not, he's a major problem and hard to trade.

I think Zeke will get through to Jamal, Curry and Marbury and the rookies will be no problem. One guy who should not be a problem, but could be if he's handled wrong is QRich. Honestly, I'd prefer to work with QRich and start him at SG and just waive Francis, but I don't think that's an option.

Assuming Jalen/Mo T/JJ don't play too much, I hope the QRich/Francis thing can get resolved to where both are happy and playing hard or traded ASAP.

Taylor and Jalen is pretty much out of here, if Biggie Fat comes to camp in shape he is a servicable big man. We need to trade Francis, sadly it will also take one our youngins
