good pick up i guess. I still dont see why KG would want to stay on this team any longer. 4 years for 25 mil.

T Wolves ruined KG's career. Any decent organization would have built a real team around him and he'd be winning rings like Duncan and Shaq did

Minnesota should lose the Timberwolve logo and just have a picture of a headcase for their team...

Mike James, Eddie Griffin, Foye, McCants, Ricky Davis. geewhilickers. maybe they want Francis? and Mo Taylor? And Jalen?

It's a disgrace that the T Wolves got beyond the first round of the playoffs only once with a player of the caliber of KG. The only good players he really ever played with were Spree and Cassell, both in their mid 30s. The Joe Smith incident hurt them from using their 1st round picks to give KG a supporting cast.

If Marbury had stayed on the T'wolves, the public's perception of him might well be totally different.

Mchale is a major retard. Just be glad that he is in Minnesota. Its a shame how he has kept his job so long. Isiah has been dogged since he's got here. At least you can see the talent. Minnesota is screwed all to hell with a lot of bums signed long term. Knicks aren't as doomed and Minnesota. Kg is the reason they have had their sucsess. That one year with spree and cassell was a fluke.

Why would they sign a scoring point guard if they Foye on the team??? Might as well let him and Mccants grow together if you are going to bring in mike james.

I thought James was a ball hawk on D and is a scoring PG. I don't think Minnesota had faith in any of Banks, Hudson or Jaric. If Foye is good enough to start, James will take all of the pressure off of him in all of the scoring, PG and defensive aspects (the togher assignment of PG/SG). Not bad.

Yeah the signing is fine. You can out that back court of James and foyle up with the best back courts in the league.

So looking at them and looking at what ny has.....marbs, Francis, craw? Knicks should be more than able to keep up with anybody.

That's a great comment! I think the T-Wolves would have had much more playoff success and Marbury would be perceived better. I suspect he'd still have some of the same bad habbits and say some of the same stupid things to the media, but the public would be much more forgiving.

Yeah, but if look at it from the point of having Garnet, Foye and Mccants, this was not good. You a Rookie who is probably as good as James at everything he does as a rookie. And James doesn't make the Twolves a finals contender that Garnet wants. So there is no reason to signing this guy, because he isn't going to keep garnet happy and when KG leaves, you don't want to play Jamse in front of Foye and McCants.

McCants is done for the season and Foye is a rookie. James is a proven scorer in this league. The reason to sign him IS to keep Garnet happy... I mean, who else could they sign. The wolves needed to do something.

I know McCanst is out for the season, but that doesn't mean I would sign mike james to a four year contract after drafting Foye and Mccants. It's like the less amount help he could get for KG at a postion that is like four deep now, if I were KG I would be piss.

KG said he didn't want to rebiuld again, but Mike james ain't helping either...... might as well rebuild.
