Why sign Doleac to 4 years -he didnt earn a 4 year contract?

Our GM publicly said that andersen was going to have a great year--that he thought he might beat out Sprewell for the job. ??????? where in his playing career did andersen show that he is capable of sprewell like play?

We got Lee Nailon by default--other teams who may have needed him couldnt pony up--and jees think about it the knicks have all of this financial flexibilty and NOW they start to think about fiscal responsibilty after the fact. Like trading mugsy bogues for Howard eilsy when bogues had 1 year on his contract and eisley had 6. even nailon it really looks like the knicks wavered back and forth and finally said w t f lets get him. Its just not good management. I really believe the Knicks MAY be the worse team in the league. If Thomas and Houston score 50 points on nearly 50% shooting--the other team plays very poorly and we lose by 10. Nailon is a lucky lucky pick up because he can actually put the bal in the whole and we wont have to witness andersen spoon and knight taking 20 footers.

Knicks are winging it. I seriously think Layden doesnt have a plan layed out. Hes hunt tinng for anything to improve this team without trying to balance it out. Hes had 2 years to balance this team out weve been starting a PF for 2 years. Sometimes you need to balance the team before you add talent.
