Which basically sums up why Isiah Thomas drafted him. And it was by another player.

Didn't Ben Wallace and Chauncey Billups say the same thing. The Knicks don't have any real role players. The ones they do have think they are capable of being more than that. See Malik Rose a.k.a. "Baby Ribs" Jordan.

Not every player on the team has to be a star. The right role players are what make your team a champion. It would be nice to have stars that are willing to take a back seat and be role players, that of course would make you even better but unfortunately ego's get in the way. We are all of course rooting for Balkman

Isiah Thomas will lead us back to the playoffs in 2006 !!!

nobody wants him to fail. Personally, I am rooting hard for the guy, and I'm sure even Briggs is. I'm not saying I'm on this side, but the point is people think they're just were better options than Balkman at #20. I personally don't know. We sure didn't need another PG though.

I haven't seen anyone that wants him to fail. I think I've seen plenty of people have skimmed through posts and assumed that they want him to fail without paying attention to what the person really wrote.

Where the hell have you seen that? You guys love being drama-queens. There isn't one person on here that wants him to fail. Just becuase people have a problem with how the draftpick was used that doesn't mean people want him to fail. You guys love putting words in our mouths to better your own dismal arguments. Show me where one person said they want him to fail. Find it, and put it here.

if you want to win a championship you need a superstar. If we're talking about wining 40 games than sure we have enough stars to make that happen
