He wouldn't have signed it if we were lined up to have cap space a few years from now. Way to go, Isiah, you're building a championship contender in Cleveland.

That's a stretch. I'm guessing you and Lebron chat on AIM all the time, huh?

Hmmm, it's funny, the thing would be all over the news right now and I don't exactly trust espn either, but if it is so, then this is the way I'm looking at it. If he's not happy in about three season's from now, I think the Knicks can still make a trade by then. He'll still only be 24 years old and if he finishes his contract, then he'll be 26. So I think we have two more shots at him. Until then, this sort of takes the pressure off for now. Now Zeke can concentrate on maybe finding a few other players who can really help us this next season. It's kind of depressing though seeing this. Oh well, at least Chicago or L.A. didn't get him. It's not like 'Leave it to Clever' is going to win anyways in Cleve! Okay, maybe just one minimum, but 'maybe'!
I'll never trust this' team again.

Yep, it's starting to come in now. I just saw it on the sl.com site. Bummer!

But it's still only a verbal agreement, until the 12th. There's one last chance.

Here's a thought guys and gals. Since LeBron is now gone out of the picture, maybe we should concentrate on acquiring KG. If he options out of his contract after this next season, then maybe we can get him for a three year deal, for about 15 mil. each? He's 30-31 now and has a few good years left in him. It would solve our center position, give us instant credibility and by the time he's finished playing in NY, we'll have another shot at LeBron.

I went over to the Timberwolves site and man it's a mess. They're trying to sell seats, for all 43 games, all for $199.00. What a bargain!!! The site itself needs a lot of work.

I hope Lebron realizes that he may never win a title with the Cavs. He could become like Garnett, Pierce, and Tmac. In today's NBA your team has to be stacked in order to win a title. And that means a good team and a solid bench.

Not to mention a couplle of superstars also. Let's not forget Malone and Barkley also. Those two bums never won either.

I'm glad the Lebron to NY fantasies can quiet down for at least five years.

There were no fantasies. We had no shot at him because of how we were managed. It was more disappointment that we had no shot, due to our management.

You're right, now we can move on: to disappointment of no shot at Dwight Howard, Emeka Okafor, Chris Paul, Bogut, etc...
Wishing everyone well. I enjoyed posting here for a while, but as I matured I realized this forum isn't for me. We all evolve. Thanks for the memories everyone.
