Nate, Lee, Frye, and Balkman know how to cut to the hole. I hope this year we see more cuts to the basket for an easy bucket. I'm really tried of one guy dribbling while everyone stands still. Hopefully there will be more motion on the ball. Message to the Vets, Start moving without the ball!

let me clarify, it's the same players running a different type of offense.

I hope so. Because there are teams like Pistons, Nets, and the Jazz especially that really know how to move the ball around. We will see if Isiah can get the vets to start playing like that also.

I was worried about the vets, but right now I only see room for 5 of them...crawford, curry, marbury and insert vet here.

qrich is a shooter, so not too concerned with him and crawford and marbury are isiah's true guys, curry, is he someone that needs to be "cutting" to the hole, or looking for the cutter...hopefully he's not a dumb as he sometimes appears. (but shaq seemed slow early in his career as well)

jalen...well, it's the same offense from indiana (or similar) so if he does't get it, he doesn't want to.

so far, I'm really liking the open communication on the floor between the players, get 3 or 4 more vets on the same page and we are doing really really well.

Anybody heard a peep from malik rose?

Excellent points!

As far as Malik Rose, I don't think he will be in the rotation this season. I think Frye's main backup at the 4 will be Lee. Isiah said he wants a 10 man rotation and I don't think that will include, Malik or Mo. Malik's contract is also going to expire in two years.

yeah, it's like all of the trades that we didn't like from a player perspective are immediately beginning to pay off. Mo's expiring this year and rose next year and the value we got in return in them (pickswise) are playing this year (i think)

like what i see out of Balkman so far... the kid looks like he can ball... i think he's going to be a real fan favorite this year just like Nate was last year... Collins looks pretty solid too... reminds me of a larger Charlie Ward in some ways.
After 7 years & 40K+ posts, banned by martin for calling Nalod a 'moron'. Awesome.
