ESPN Radio 1000 is reporting that the Bulls and Hornets have agreed in principle on a deal involving Tyson Chandler and P.J. Brown. The deal is not yet official because there may be money transfered in the deal, a reported 2.5 million dollars, and another player may be involved in the trade such as J.R. Smith and Eddie Badsen. ESPN Radio 1000 is also reporting that a possible three team deal may also be in the works. Here it is:

Bulls Get:
F P.J. Brown (from Hornets)

Hornets Get:
F/C Tyson Chandler (from Bulls)
F Maurice Taylor (from Knicks)

Knicks Get:
G/F J.R. Smith (from Hornets)
cash

Either there is more to it or it is just a crap rumour....doesn't work salary wise this way..I've been pining for JR for a while and if we get rid of a salary, cool...

Briggs you are RIGHT I just found this on another site, And he is suppose to be a good source.

The PJ+JR for Tyson trade was agreed to today
I do NOT think it will be reported tonight. From what I understand, the Timberwolves deal is OFF the table. Not going to happen Bulls fans. I do not know anything else about the trade ie. is AM and/or Malik Allen involved. Don't expect it to be on ESPN until tomorrow. Have a great Fourth of July!

Its kind of hard these days to imagine anything working in the favor of the Knicks. So yeah, I don't believe it either.

However, I can't see JR on the Bulls either. Doesn't seem like the type of player Skiles would like and the Bulls are pretty much set at the 2 with Gordon, Thabo (sp) and Duhon...

JR is a player I identified for the Knicks in January. Would love to see it....

I haven't seen anything of JR, what's so good about him? Just by his stats he doesnt seem like anything special.

I'm sure he has loads of potential considering his age, but what is he specifically good at? Do we need another SG just cause he's tall? What does he give us that we don't already have?

He has the capability to be a top flight scorer 25ppg+ but this aint real

Trade is BS but anyway JR Smith sucks. He doesn't pass or rebound and he's not a great scorer. He's limited on offense because he rarely drives cause he's soft and jumper is inconsistent. He's atheltic but i'm sick of the typical "well he hasn't down anything in nba but he's atheltic". Gimme a break.

argh! Some guy posted this on K4L and I shot it down in the first page after confirming it with two people but everyone on there still seems to believe that this trade is, for whatever reason, still a possibility.
