Atlanta Journal-Constitution - The Al Harrington era in Atlanta is close to becomming officially over. The Hawks are actively looking to complete a sign and trade deal, possibly involving Indiana or Golden State.

"As of right now it's pretty clear to me that I won't be back in a Hawks uniform next year," Harrington said by phone Monday afternoon from his offseason home in Los Angeles. "It's pretty much a wrap for me there.

"I have a genuine interest in both of those teams," he said. "My only focus is getting back to the playoffs and eventually competing for a championship. I thought we were getting better and heading in that direction [in Atlanta], but sometimes it's time to move on."

Good i didnt want him here
''We don't have the luxury to take anybody lightly,'' New York's Quentin Richardson said. ''We're not that good.''

It didn't really knock out any possible locations. Not that I think he would be the type of player we need.

Praise the lord if he goes somewhere else.

I think Dolan is not going to be signing anymore checks for Isiah this year.So don't expect any big trades this summer

I think so- he basically said as much on that interview.

I think with LB wanting Rose/Francis, that was the last of the big salary additions.

Plus, he might end up having to pony up $40m to ex-coach brown.

good point.

But atleast Dolan will be saving money having Isiah to do two jobs of the price of one job being the GM/coach.
