Frye said he came in at 260 and already lost 5lbs. Good to see his weight is up though, he was probably playing around 240 last year.

Channing Frye sounds like an old man
It's funny how this whole world is based on one dummy controlling another, and the leader dummy was chosen by a whole bunch of dummies.

Honestly I thought the rookies always had a decent attitute....the vets...now that is a different story. And isn't everyone always excited the first week?

My windows media players aren't opening those links up? Is there any other way I can do so?

Use this link http://www.msgnetwork.com/knicks.jsp and scroll to the bottom of the page. I think there is a choice for Real Player or Windows Media.

If this doesn't work, I think I have a link somewhere around for an uploaded youtube version. (might have to wait until I can get home, they're screwing with our internet access at work today)

Ah thanks dude... Channing will always talk like he sees the Knicks through rose colored glasses, but I'm sure he would like to kill Isiah for drafting him, if he gets the chance.

not anymore, nate said it best, 5 kid starting lineup...while the vets sucked it up last year, beginning year 3 and we are younger than ever and have every position covered by a first or second year player is pretty good work by our GM in my book...top heavyness aside, the future is currently in vegas.

The mid level vets (not in terms of salary, but in terms of production) added to this mix makes our youth very comparable with other teams youth, and in 3 years, if we keep the core together, will be EXTREMELY competitive.

Crawford, Curry added to the 5 youths and any one of the marbs/francis/jRose triplets and we get 30 wins...is it enough? nope. But it's a step in the right direction IMHFO.

It's too bad Isiah has one year to make a big improvement. He's not gonna care about a "Step in the right direction", because he'll get fired unless the team wins 40+ games IMO. W'ed all love to see the young guys playing a lot more, but unless they are immediately better than the vets I think isiah plays the vets just to save his job. Thanks to dolan, he doesn't have the luxury of thinking about the future.

I'm going to be the first person to say that isiah will not be fired if the team plays like we expected them to play under LB, like their careers depended on it.

I mean, seeing zeke shooting jumpers and nate getting his boards, that's a team IMHO...he's going to be going to war with them every game and a 12 game improvement saves his job.

That's just how I see it, who else they gonna bring in, and they will be taking over a team that in the media, lb, fish, nyk4 and other's opinion would have overachieved to win 35 games.

Then bring someone else in to get rid of eveyone and do that whacky dj rebuilding job of releasing everyone...nope...think like a realists, this was always isiahs job to coach this particular bunch of players.

He wins 35 games, he gets a contract extension and we all suddenly remember that he did have a plan to begin with and it did not involve LB until LB involved himself by getting himself fired from detroit so he could become GM of the knicks.

If we stayed the course, last year we'd be pissed that we only won 35 games and be wondering how we are going to make the playoffs this year, IMHO, we all suffered one year of stunted growth...Crawfords performance at the end of last year was basically brown doing finally with crawford what he should have been doing with the entire team, put them in a position to succeed.

Zeke will put everyone in a position to succeed, especially crawford since he was the second coveted piece he added and the first building block of the future, so don't go thinking he'll suffer under uncle zeke.

No diggity doubt...can you taste it? yep, you bet ya, that's kool aid baby...heck, kool aid is a term I never heard before reading it in fish' sig when I signed up for the UK site, where oh where has that optimistic fishy gone...at this point, I could care less, my bandwagon is empty and taking on new believers daily.

If you don't want on, there is a train leaving for brooklyn before the season starts, unfortunately, it's headed in teh wrong direction.

BITCHES!
