On hoopsworld.com, it is suggesting that Stromile Swift doesn't want to return to Memphis and that Jerry West is looking to re-route him after the trade between Memphis and Houston. Would it be a good idea to acquire him as a back-up forward/center off the bench? He is athletic (although dumb) and a good shot-blocker. Who would you be willing to give up to get him? Who would West realistically accept for Swift?

I don't think he can be traded again for 60 or 90 days.

I thought about the knicks getting involved with Switft once I heard he was going back to Memp....I offer Stevie but I don't know if Memphis would bite.

Lowry is young and Stoudamire is commingoff injury so its a possibility. Moving Stevie for a big clears some of the backcourt clutter.

I think he can be traded, as long as it's within 24 hours of the original trade. Anybody know for certain?

I think free agent signings can't be traded until Dec but Swift can..not sure though
