Aside from KG & Ricky Davis, they don't have one desirable player on their squad. No one who anybody is really interested in. And unfortunately for them, all of their guys are locked up for 4 and 5 year deals, even if they are only 6 mill a piece. They have no expirings? How do you move those contracts when you can't even package them with a good player? How do they get KG a player who can make a difference, and take Minnesota out of the lottery.

There are some FA that could help them, but how will they get them unless they willingly sign there for the MLE, and who is good enough to help them who will sign for the MLE or less? They don't have anybody who would do a sign and trade with them, becuase they have no players anybody wants. It makes me want to start with the KG to NY ideas, because this makes no sense, does he not realize he is doomed over there? There is no way that team makes a title run in the near future. This will make 2 years in the lotto after being in the ECF. Something drastic has to happen over there, this is such a waste of his career, he must be so depressed.

Peja could help but how can he get there?
Bonzi? Al Harrington?

They need a guy like Mike James. He can probably be had for the MLE and could help them significantly, but they are not building their way towards anything with him, they need a srar-level player. Randy Foye really better be something this year, or KG will want out.

Agreed. You have to believe that Minny is going to try to reproduce the trades they made a few years ago when they managed to bring in Spree, Cassell and signed Olowakandi.

I see them very interested in a scoring PG (like Marbury or Francis) and then maybe make another move or two to solidify the roster.

You're right, though, if the team doesn't make some changes quick, KG's going to be spending the tail-end of his prime from the outside looking-in, when it comes to the playoffs. It is a shame since he's one of the greatest players of this era.
Wishing everyone well. I enjoyed posting here for a while, but as I matured I realized this forum isn't for me. We all evolve. Thanks for the memories everyone.

KG deserves so much better! They could try to reproduce that threesome that made it to the finals but I think they'd have a lot of trouble getting past Dallas or SA

The thing is, they don't have the pieces to get a player like Francis of Marbury. It will take them at least 3 players to match a 15 million dollar salary.

How Kevin McHale isn't lamabasted is beyond me. He is ruining this man's career, and it really should have been so simple to get him a few solid guys.

They just got Randy Foye, a major addition in my opinion. He will average 20 a game within 2 years. Don't cry for them.
We could be the Dallas Mavs of the East.

Just in time for Garnett's prime years to be completely finished! That works well for him! Minny destroyed his career

1. Thats no guarantee, he could end up being a 10ppg role player.
2. In 2 years who knows how KG will be performing.
3. It may be too little too late. This is a tragedy, he should be going to the owners right now demanding to be traded. Virtually any team that gets him can become playof bound and virtual contenders.
