Bobby Simmons Joe Smith
for
Steve Francis Qyntel Woods resigned at 3 mill over 2 years or something.
Milwaukee will have the most potent backcourt in the league, plus they already have a tall rebounding frontcourt. Their pg,sg, combo should be able to put up close to 45-50 ppg. Stevie the Slasher with Redd the Sniper. It could definitely work out for them, and help to replace the slashing and distributing they lost by trading TJ Ford. There are PG's on the roster, but none of them starting calibur, and Francis gets it done. Don't be fooled, Steve is an all-star calibur pg, that could help the bucks significantly as they are in dire need of a pg.
Q Woods will be a cheap budding 3, who could look to be a player every bit like Bobby Simmons in a year or 2, for a fraction of the cost.
NY Gets a starting calibur sf in Bobby Simons, who also shoots the 3 very well and rebounds and is decent defensively. Joe Smith is a good rebounder who expires, and also who would make Mo T (another expiring contract) get waived, as he's essentially useless as a player and a contract with the Joe Smith rental.
