Please don't nobody want a play ground player who can't adjust to real basketball. Why do you want to pay and watch him when you can see him at the Rucker, thats where he belongs.

Lou can play real ball. GS didnt keep him because his contract become guarenteed if he made the team and GS wanted to keep a roster spot open.

If skip was an NBA caliber point guard the Warriors would not have released him. I mean he couldn't beat out Steve Logan? What do the Knicks need with another point guard? They have 3 already.

Steve Logan is not going to make the Warriors either. Logan doesn't get along with the new GS coach.

Arenas and Welsch are tearing it up at the PG spot, and there's no room for anyone else. Period.

Excuses, thats what his fans keep making. Its very simple if he played well he would have made the team. If anything if he is as good as everyone thinks he is then he should have beaten out Arenas. Street ball ain't real. If it were real they would get paid $$$, we would be watching Street ball instead of the NBA.

"Street ball ain't real. If it were real they would get paid $$$, we would be watching Street ball instead of the NBA."-You obviously don't watch then. Street ball has a cult following, while the majority of NBA fans are only casual fans (obviously the ones who don't post on this board.)

ESPN did a poll recently nationwide and found that the NBA's fans were the least dedicated/passionate. I have to disagree with you, tons of people watch and follow street ball, and the majority more intensely then most NBA fans.

Alston can dribble and push the tempo, but you're right, I don't think he belongs in the NBA. If he learned that he's out there to do a job and not put on a show, maybe it'd change, but he's a legend at Rucker. No doubt about that.

There is a place for players like Alston maybe he can join the Globetrotters. Yes I know ST. Ball has a following but its is just that a following. Street ball will have no appeal to kid out of Iowa or Indiana or Montana. Its not that big its just an inner city thing.

Skip is decent. We have no room for him. He isnt that special for us to make room. He will get his time to shine eventually.
