At this point i think we need to now figure out what pieces to add to this team in order to make it a surefire playoff team. We got two decent prospects who fit what we're looking for in our role players, now i think we need to clear some roster space to get these guys some minutes, and add the right starters. I think we're assuming Curry and Frye remain as our starting 4 and 5, with Lee and one of the other bigs coming off the bench. It would be nice to get another athletic big man tho, who can blocks shots and play good post defense. I would love to get Balkman some minutes off the bench at the 3, assuming he can be that defensive specialist we need so bad. But who can we get as our starting 3. It would be nice to find someone athletic who can shoot. Also, we have to figure out if Francis is going to stay and start at the 2 or if we're going to trade him and get someone else. Marbury is our starting point for sure, and hopefully Collins can make the rotation and play some minutes off the bench at the 1 and 2. One thing i know is we need a wing player who can shoot and is athletic. Lewis is a possibility. I'm not sure what Seattle plans on doing but it seems like Lewis and Allen are both possibilities. Harrington is a decent option at the 3, but if we traded Francis for him we would need to find a quality 2 that can shoot and defend. I'm not sure if Crawford is the answer. Either way i think we have the talent to build a playoff team, now it's just about putting it together.

I'll live with Harrington as long as we get rid of Francis. I just hope we dont wind up with Darius Mileds.

good post that would be a good rotation. Stomile Swift would be nice. I don't trust JVG with a guy like Swift.

I think that Isiah's purse strings are cut. I think that there is a better than 50% chance that Isiah can do nothing but resign Butler and the sign the rookies. I am guessing that there will be no MLE.

As for deals, NY has too many guards:

G: Marbury, Francis, N8, Crawford, QRich, Collins

F: Balkman, Frye, Lee, Taylor, Woods (FA), JRose, MRose

C: James, Curry, Butler (FA)

1 over the 15 limit. I think Woods will not be resigned, he was an LB guy. I think LB made a pretty good choice though. Other guys that don't fit are Taylor, Francis, QRich...

So I would think there will be a small deal or two. Hoepfully they dump salary in the long term!
