This guy looks like a beast. I've been waiting for us to get someone that will scare the **** out of other players.

and we just made him a millionaire

think we picked him a bit high? Like maybe he's around at 29? or we could sign him as an undrafted FA?

or could have bought the Suns pick and took him there?

please don't even remind me, everytime I watch renaldo play I will remember that we passed on Marcus and took a guy projected in the second round instead

its so funny. this is why I didn't even bother with trying to figure out who we were going to draft this year. It's pointless with Isiah's ego. He took a guy at 20 who we could've had at 29.

If he was your highest rated player on the board at 20, would really wait all the way till 29 to take him? Let the guy bring defense and energy to this team. We needed a player like this. With him and Mardy we now have 2 perimeter defenders where we previously had zero.

These are positives about these picks. What it comes down to is these weren't the sexiest picks, but they filled needs. Williams doesn't necessarily fill a need now that Isiah is the coach. All i have to say is Balkman better be one heck of a sleeper.

I really do like Renlado, but we could have had both him and Marcus. Its not like we had to chose. We could have had both of them.

I'm glad Isiah finally decided defense might be important. However, no one was taking this guy in the first round except for a guy like Isiah who has a huge ego. All the teams right after us needed PG's. Plus, we could have bought the Suns pick if we were that worried.

You can't defend not taking the best PG in the draft when we don't have a real one to begin with.

It's kind of funny. During the season, Knicks fans bitch about the talented players who have personality and/or conditioning problems and pine away for the energy/defense guys. But on draft night, Knicks fans bitch about the energy/defense player and pine away for the talented player who has personality and conditioning problems.

Not that I love the pick, mind you. I just think it's kind of funny.

Marcus ? Like in the sentence : "marcus will never see the light cause we have 2 borderline allstars Pgs and 2 backup PGs already ?"
