Would make some sense for them I guess. Get a young big guy who can rebound and block shots to play next to Krstic. I'm with you Anji, I want him on the Knicks too. I wonder how complicated the potential trade would be with Seattle. Almost certainly it would involve Richard Jefferson going to the Sonics, maybe even Vince Carter. Probably Rashard Lewis coming back. Something along those lines. How did Armstrong say it? Did he look fairly certain? I'll have to be on the look out for that comment.

Are they crazy? Hilton Armstrong will be nothing more than a role player. They are wasting a 10th pick on him?

right now, there's 99% garbage flying and 1% truth. but that fact that the player himself said it is interesting.

Nets need a player like Hilton Armstrong pretty badly.

Pick 10, wow, thats pretty high for Hilton, he could be worth it though (of course that could be said for many others in the draft).

I have to admit, I'll be pretty pissed off if the Nets end up getting a pick that high.

Pick 10 is tough--if it gets traded it fouls up the mock about 5 picks

from what I gather I think its either simmons williams or sene--unless of course hilton is correct

You have no idea, I was screaming when I saw that the pick was unprotected.

However, I mentioned the Nets in this scenario because like the Nets, we also have two first round picks in the 20s and I would be pissed off if the Nets got the 10th overall pick instead of us.

BRIGGS, who would you go with if you had a choice, Sene or Hilton (for our situation)?

Its tough to judge a guy just by video clips (Sene) but he looks like he can be the real deal.

I've only seen Sene play 1 time, but from what I saw, I take him over Armstrong. Now I know that the professionals who have seen Hilton play and pratice over this year that may disagree with me. I read where Dick Mcquire and Thorn said he was a lottery pick + I know HILTON at times dominated Uconn practices this year with all of that talent--sometimes it translated into the actual games--sometimes it didnt. I think Hilton has a capable offensive arsenal right now that hasnt been showcased like it would if he was THE man on his college team. That being said, the imposing physical attributes and of sene are far to much to pass on imho. I would definitely consider Sene with pick 10 if I had it, but I would not pick Hilton there

On DX, hilton's best-case scenario is listed as Channing Frye.

Agree with you on that BRIGGS. Everything I've read about Sene suggests that the kid wants to be the best player he can be, combine that with his physical attributes and I think he will be a different player than Johan Petro.
