Rose is an awesome player not only because he can play 1, 2, or 3, but he's a great scorer as well. Good height for any of the positions he plays.
Fizer, Rose, and Crawford for Spree and Ward works straight up, without the injury exemption. I'm hoping they pry Stro Swift away with the exemption, which I believe would work since the excemption is worth $4.55 million and Swift is earning $3.6 million. If the Grizz put in Earl Watson, who makes $1.2 million (and is signed for 3 years), then it probably would work.
Knicks Line-Up: PG-Crawford (6'5") SG-Houston (6'6") SF-Rose (6'8") PF-Thomas (6'9") C- Swift (6'9") 6th Man:Fizer BENCH: Anderson, Weatherspoon, Postell, Eisley, Williams, Harrington, Knight, Doleac, Watson
The height problems would be solved, so that'd be a positive, and there'd be an influx of young talent. With a probable lotto pick and 2nd rounder, and McDyess coming back next year, the Knicks might be able to turn it around.
