Isiah Thomas is looking to move Quentin Richardson, Larry Brown's biggest supporter in the locker room. He did his best work this past season as Brown's top perimeter defender. But it won't be easy to move him, since more than a few GMs stil believe Richardson was merely a product of Phoenix's system.

Saw this coming a mile away....but I have to say, we move Q we don' have a starting quality pure SG.

The Spurs also want to get more athletic on the wing. So they're looking to revive a deal for the Hornets' J.R. Smith, who had problems with coach Byron Scott in his rookie season. The deal for Smith, a Newark product who came right in from high school, fell through at the last minute at the trading deadline. But now, Brent Barry could be on his way to the Hornets.

I will be SO pissed if they get him for Brent Barry and we don't even try to make a play for him by offering the 29.

If we keep Q Rich, we don't have a starting quality SG either!

Har har har.....a normal QRich is a starting quality SG or SF (I do emphasize normal, though).

I agree with you Joe, Isiah really needs to make a play for JR, he's everything the Knicks need right now from the 2 spot and if he goes to the Spurs for the putrid price of Brent Barry, I will be noless then baffled as to why Isiah didn't offer up a better deal.

I am Q-Rich's biggest fan. I love his game but he looked done last year. He couldn't make a wide open shot to save a game let alone save his life. He looked very hurt. That episode where he kicked the scorers table and threw a tantrum...the dude played heavy minutes and had like 4pts and nothing else. Kinda stupid if you as me.

The Knicks just came off an embarrassing season.....if anyone else wants to take a chance that Q-Rich can bounce back....then they can have him. Crawford played the shooting guard position almost to perfection last year and he looked like our leader. Craw is the Shooting guard. Knicks need Brent Barry type to play behind Craw.

There is no way in hell any team is going to try to pick up Q and his bad back azz. Everyone in the league saw Q bust up backboards and rims trying to shoot.

There is no surprised that Isiah wants him gone. Then again who won't Isiah trade if a deal comes along?

If Q comes back and has a good season I will be fine with him staying.

I think if Q can get going early in the season, somebody could want him.

45.2 from the field and 39% from 3 in a backup 15 mpg role. I'll take it

Hughes looks like he is not going to be the same player after the deaths in his family and his major injuries. rumor has it that Jamal has been spending countless hours in the gym. Also he has gain respect from many of the players on this team. I guess we have to wait and see.

he still looked malnourished in that pic of him and Nate doing charity.

Hughes is coming back strong next season.

and what makes you think that he'll be back strong next year?

Q will be the Back up SmallForward. He can show if he is back to his old days in 15-18 minutes a game.

And I would Trade Q for Barry as an salary Dump.
