DraftExpress - DraftExpress has learned that the Trailblazers are asking the Rockets to take on the contract of Darius Miles in return for Juwan Howard and the swapping of picks. A proposal made a few days ago by Portland a few days ago involed trading Darius Miles and the #30 and #31 picks in return for Juwan Howard and the #8 pick.

That offer was rejected by Houston and the teams have gone back to the drawing board.

I swear to god if Darius Miles comes to this team, it might be the straw that breaks the camels back for me.

LOL!!!!!!!!

YEah, I don't think it's that strong with me because I only swear to Goodness, but everything else you said is vey close. I hope we dodge the miles bullet. BUt he seems to be the easiest player that could be had and he plays the postion that this team needs the most.

I Don't know, if we make it threw the draft and the BPA Isiah picks up are a C/PF and a SG, what will he think he has to do to get a starting small forward????
Do you take on miles for Q??? What if it is for JJ, would you do it then???

I would do Q and JJ for Miles in a NY minute.

JJ might be fat & overpaid, but I don't think he is a cancer to chemistry like Miles would- even if he isn't, merely have the rep is enough for me to vote no!

All these players around the league that are revolting against their coaches are looking to play for a players coach and they want to like the coach.

Jerome James seemed to play well for seattle when the portland coach was there.

are we of the opinion that Q won't work out now that Marbury is back in charge?

I don't think it's Q won't work, but Isiah may have a few reasons to ditch him. One would be wanting to win and wanting Marbury to play at his best, so Isiah may not want that conflict again between them. Another could be bringing a player in at SF that is going to play in front of him anyway. Lastly could be getting rid of anyone that might still bring up Larry Brown on the Team to the media or to trash Isiah.
