There is no doubt about it in my mind, they are up to something stupid here and they will go away from building up young assets for a dumb vet---in a trade where 99% of the time we wouldnt have to give a pick anyway----we are the knicks we give EXTRA you want it we give it---thats why we sck because we have no plan and if all else fails trade the pick and starphuck!

Didn't you say they were gonna trade all three picks last year for Webber or K-Mart or some other vet? I'm sure they will trade the picks this year if Larry has any say in it, though

If we're trying to move Francis (which I strongly believe will happen), we're likely giving up something additional.

And/Or

I know it's been mentioned a million times, but Isiah has a thing for Al Harrington. I wouldn't be suprised to see him in a Knicks uni next year. I don't know how he would get it done, but I'd bet he's trying like hell.

I definitely think there will be Knicks trade on a draft night. Maybe involving Francis or Mo T and one or both picks.

what happens on draft night might give a clue to whats going to happen with Larry, if the club doesn't speak before then.

I hope they are able to trade up. After a very dismal season, all I have left to look forward to is the Draft and Summer League. I do like Saer Sene, maybe because everyone is hyping him right now. I do want Isiah to coach the team. Being that he put this roster together, he is the only one that can bring his vision for this team forth.

in all seriousness, who could we get for a starter (francis/marbury), an expiring contract (moT/jrose) and a pick?

all kool aid all the time.

I don't think we can fit 2 late round players on the squad unless one is a european and stays over in europe- too many guys already under contract & some young guys showing potential.

I could see a 2 for 1 type deal where 2 picks get move for a higher pick.

Well of course Isiah hopes if he includes Frye/Curry and anyone else they want he'll get KG or JO, but more likely scenarios probably include:

McGrady (Only if his back is really shot, cause that's the only way JVG would want Steph or Francis back)
Spoon
Juwan Howard

----

Baron Davis
Adonyl Foyle
Troy Murphy

----

Kmart
Patterson
Andre Miller

We're so screwed...

NOt really. I don't think Isiah wants the 29th pick, but there aren't that manying teams that what that pick or want cap space or want our players right now. There are going to be alot of deals done in the NBa, so alot of places we are looking to make a deal with are going to have alot of other deals they can make. So in short, I don't think this market place bolds well for moving Rose/MO as cap space or Steph/Francis.

One second, how can we trade both picks if we already promised them to Lowry and Boone? Oh man! Now we've gone and completely screwed it up. Trust Isiah and Dolan to do this! We'll probably get fined and lose all our picks for 10 years. We sck!

Anji, I know you're relatively new here, so let me be the one to tell you. BRIGGS is one of the most bipolar posters the world has ever seen. He will go from loving someone and advocating them for MVP one second, and the next to hating them and demanding they be traded for the nearest full garbage can.

We all love BRIGGS and when we poke fun, it's all in jest. I'm sure he knows that.

As for the picks, I would rather trade at least the 29 instead of drafting Boone, because I personally think he doesnt have the drive to be an NBA player. If Mo T, Jackie Blue and the 29 can get us something like Dalembert and Ollie (which BTW works under the cap), I would be happy.

As the new ultimateknicks tradechecker will now show....

No deals can be made until DOlan and Isiah come out of hiding like little girls and either Fire Larry or let him do his job! Any trade will be overshadowed by this fiasco.

This really makes me want to be a Net Fan.....but I just can't do it.

thats the avenue. contrary to the *draft stinks
it's actually filled with a variety of of players that can step in and play right away-----control OUR expenses and keep away from someone else's problem without gettingb rid of our own.

Id like to see what we can do about getting that 10 pick--i think there will be two surprising slips we would have choices on beyond other guys who are pegged for the area.

I would pursue Redick hard if he slips to the mid teens.

redick is most definitely going to slip, but if we don't have LB, he won't work as a knick.
