"I have just learned that Tyrus Thomas WILL NOT be coming to Portland for a workout with the Blazers tomorrow. More details to come, but the indication is that he was promised something by Toronto, Chicago or Charlotte, and thus decided he didn't need to come here for a workout."

toronto, chicago, charlotte

who gave him the promise? hot rumor is that it's the micheal jordan bobcats - that's why they want to trade up to #1 so chicago doesn't take him at #2.

personally speaking, i hope he goes to toronto. colangelo needs his marion...

ty thomas is going to be fun, but he's not marion. he's more like Stro with a motor and a fierce competitive streak.

OH man............. I was just thinking about a Wallace/Tryus/Okafur Team. How easy/fun would it be to be an point guard on that team?????

Not to bust your balls DJ, but now you are rooting for colangelo and toronto (in our division) to get a great player?

Like I said, not busting your balls, but just pointing out how anti-knicks you have become.

actually what does one have to do with the other?

the knicks blow. they've blown for 6 years in a row. but whatever i say about another team and hoping one guy goes there or not has no correlation to me as a knicks fan.

if only Layden was here, maybe he could have pulled off that Bosh trade

he was here. Now if Isiah had been here, we'd have Lebron AND Bosh! (Or maybe just Jerome James on a $100 mil contract extension!)

Yup. A Udoka for Bosh trade was inevitable.

if only Layden had had the brains to realize that the 2003 draft would change the face of the league and it might make sense to secure a top 5 pick in a lost season.
