decent outside shot from mid and deep.

he is long and has a good motor.

he can defend the 2 and 3.

can handle and can pass and isn't a stat player.

won't cost much.
the stop underrating David Lee movement 1. FIRE MIKE 2. HIRE MULLIN 3. PAY AVERY 4. FREE NATE!!!

K-Mart
Johnson

for

Mo Taylor
Q. Rich
DLee is the best thing to happen to NY in Isiah's 4 year tenure. And that alone, though a positive on the radar, is sad as hell.

Not a big deal either way. Ok, bring him back.
We could be the Dallas Mavs of the East.

I agree, why Dermarr IF we resign Woods? Now if we are going to let Woods walk (and if Larry leaves, IMO, I would bet my bottom dollar Woods is gonna be right behind him-There is no way Zeke can truly get Woods in his corner after what he said at the time they signed him.

Now if Woods leaves, I think that Q and Taylor for Dermarr and KMart is actually a decent trade to look at, but it does push Frye to the bench or to SF.....

You think so? I don't remember Isiah saying anything derogatory toward Woods.

Well he didn't endorse woods. He put the signing all on brown. Woods was involved in dog fighting so I wouldn't have endorsed him much either.

Woods proved a lot in his ny stint. he looks like tracy mcgrady out there at times. I think he was restraing his ability to fit in. Woods clearly can take it up a notch. I believe he will definately make an impact if the knicks resign him. He will emerge in training camp as a real threat. I just hope he is given a chance to play again as a knick.

I would not even waste my time on Johnson. We can use that money to pick up someone else.

That's fair enough, but Isiah was the only GM even willing to take a chance on Q. I don't think Q would hold it against him that Isiah wasn't profusely positive toward him. He should understand that almost no one would be under the circumstances and should just be appreciative that Isiah was the only GM willing to give him another chance. Give him a 2 yr., $3.2 mil (i.e., LLE) contract (or a little more if necessary) and he'll be happy. The more I think about it, the more important I think it is to make sure we KEEP him in the organization. He's such a great athlete with a strong offensive game and he looks like he finally has his head screwed on right. Roster spots may be limited but what are the odds you're going to get someone with a better combination of athleticism, skill, and what looks like a good attitude with the 20th or 29th pick or the MLE? Low, I'd say. I wouldn't complain if it even took the full MLE actually. It would be Isiah's best use of the MLE in three years (by far, sadly).

Woods. Johnson. bring them both back as the 3 platoon.

these 6' 8 guys with the long arms and lateral quickness are being used to guard 4's who face up and move like a 3. With a guy like Bosh in the Atlantic need to be prepared. Plus theres the added headache of defending Pierce-Wally Z 6'6 swings, RJ-Carter...

Detroit whether some choose to admit or not changed the way the game is won in that Final series. they beat LA defensively on the wings and turned those transition opportunities into points with team speed.

we've seen Phoenix for 2 year win 114 games and go to the WCF's twice with the speed kills moniker. Dallas was able to go toe 2 toe and outlast SA this year with it.

Its about winning!

I don't like Demarr's game, it seems like his head floats in and out of the action. I'd rather try to sign Ariza or just bring back Woods.
