vs. Gilbert Arenas. Both played in excellent programs & had good coaches. Both are 6'3" athletic freaks that played off the ball in college. Both are very competitive players. Arenas turned into a monster at point, but obviously a scoring point. Not sure how much PG is in Brown's future, but do you guys think he could possibly turn into a big time scorer or do you feel he's the type of guy that makes living on the defensive end for a while until the offensive light bulb is a little brighter (i.e. Doug Christie).

Brown is undoubtedly on our radar.

Excellent discussion.

Okay, I'll try more. Who is better Shannon Brown or teammate, Maurice Ager? Ager is taller & the better offensive player. Both are lights out athletes.

Preference?

Nice reach. It crossed my mind as well (Brown/Arenas comparison) Both were 2 guards in college then converted to lead-guards (notice I didn't say point guard) once in the league.

Arenas is a purer shooter than Brown, but both are lightning quick to hole, and both are stronger than most Pg's.

What amazes me about Arenas is how effortless he shoots with range. In the Cav series, he hit a 30 footer to tie a game with such ease.
