What would you take?

Door # 1 - 20. Shannon Brown 29. Josh Boone

Door # 2 - 20. Marcus Vinicuis 29. Mardy Collins

Door # 3 - 20. Saer Sene 29. PJ Tucker

Door # 4 - 20. Kyle Lowry 29. Alexander Johnson

I know things are doom & gloom right now, but I think any of these adds nicely to the good things in last years draft.

I also like two guys not currently hyped for the 1st round, Mike Gansey & David Noel.

I have to believe that, whomever the coach is, we will look to draft a well coached, experienced college player, especially one from a good program. This organization doesn't need a 3 year project. We need smart, competitive, ready players. I think this gives a leg up with regard to probability of being drafted to:

Shannon Brown, Josh Boone, Mike Gansey, Nic Caner Medley, PJ Tucker, Kyle Lowry, Mardy Collins etc.

20-Mardy Collins, 29-Boone or Killingsworth

Joec > Killingsworth, huh? Surprising. I know he's a crafty lefty scorer, but his lack of size & tendency to gain weight is of concern.

I know it's a surprise, but my thinking is no matter what weaknesses a player has at a position there are ALWAYS advantages also. I like to be extremely creative with floor lineups too. For example, Lee doesn't have the offensive prowess that most small forwards-a position I feel is starting to switch away from the pure 6-8 or 6-9 230 pound athletes to 6-6, 220 pound second SG's on the floor- have and he may be a little slow at the position, but I feel that he is only minimally slower and he would be able to post up at the SF position almost at will because he would be stronger at the position. He was also recruited to Florida as a 6-3 PG and sprouted 5 inches in college so his passing out of the post and court vision , I feel, would make up for his weaknesses there.

I see him as the bull we don't have.....granted he is a little laterally oversized, I think he can be an Anthony Mason style PF/SF combo. He would be an absolute monster for SF's to guard and would creat sick mismatches if he was on the floor with say a Curry and Frye or Curry and Lee or even Butler......as a matter of fact I think the only lineup where he wouldn't create a mismatch is if he was on the floor with Frye and Lee.

ok...I respect that. Love the Mason idea. Man, I wish we could have a decent supply of balls out players like the 90's.

Based on your posts, it seems my opinion of him isn't accurate. I think of him as a pure low post guy. A 6'7" version of Zach Randolph.

I think that this guy has the greatest chance to be another Corliss Williamson, except I expect him to be what Corliss has become, Corliss was supposed to be alot more when he was drafted.

Speaking of the draft, let's hope Minny lands Rudy Gay or somebody not named Randy Foye or Marcus Williams. I don't believe they'd trade for Marbury.
