One of the more crazier rumors circulating at the pre-draft camp was that Cleveland, in an attempt to help superstar LeBron James, may shop guard Larry Hughes, whom they signed to a lucrative free-agent contract last summer. …

Clev has depth at the PF so i don't think they have a use for Lee and Rose, however, they may take Crawford, Robinson, and Taylor's expiring deal for Hughes and Newble. That's pretty reasonable for both teams. Hughes would really help us because he's an athletic SG who can play some point, plus he can play a fast paced offense and is a good defender. Then trade Francis to Denver for Martin and suddenly we have a pretty good thing going.

I'd say try and give them Q1, nate, taylor and maybe one of our draft picks for hughes and their pick...I think Cleveland needs more of a 3-pt shooter on that team and if they think maybe Q (as well as everyone on our team) had an off year maybe they'd be interested in him. I'd rather keep Craw out of all of our guards.

Larry Hughes when focused is a great player. Good defender can score and rebound quite well from the guard position. Not a great shooter, but a very good scorer. Would love to see Larry in NY that would give you two Saint Louis boys

If you play the Shooting Guard position, I think your supposed to Shoot...just a theory....

I think trading Hughes is a good move for Cleveland, his contract is pretty high and I think he was a bit ofa liability forCleveland, his defenseis not the best. I don't see aneed for himon our tem unless wecan get rid ofsome badcontracts, I would do Qfor himthough.

I love Larry Hughes....now that is out of the way there is no way I trade anything meaningful for him at all at this point. He is always hurt. Main reason I don't trade for him. Since 2000 he has played these total games for the season:
GS-50, Wash-67, 61, 61, Cle-36..

Maybe something like Mo, Jerome, and Nate for Hughes and Snow or Donyell Marshall.....but nothing worth shipping out high or even above average price for.

I don't think Hughes will be the same player after his injuries and family issues. Anyway why would we give up our expiring contract, Lee, and Jamal for Hughes?

because he is a stat sheet stuffing 2 (points rebounds assists steals) who cares about defending and winnning.

That's what the Knicks need - a player named Ira!!!
