I think people want to add Evans because of the mentality that suggests. I agree it's over-paying a mediocre guy who rebounds and little else (overrated defender imho), but after adding soft guys like Francis, Jalen and Eddy it would sort of be at least a step in the right direction. I agree that if we focus on getting tough guys in the draft like Boone or perhaps Adeleke, signing Evans is overkill.

Part of the problem last year was that we had too many players. We need to really cut the core rotation down to 10 guys at most.
