One possible point of interest. I think anyone can make a reasonable claim that Josh at 29 could end up being a steal. I think at worst, hes a blue collar rebounder/finisher defender who can really really run the floor from 4-5 with great length.

but let me bring in the home team factor anyone know what type of TV ratings Uconn gets in the state of CT? Mens basketball does MNF type ratings in the state. Cablevision is in CT. Wouldnt grabbing a Husky or two over the years be a smart way to devleop more viewers for the knicks/MSG in this state? A way to sell a few more tickets? Ever go to the Big East tourneys Uconn brings down like 20 busses--Uconn has as much media coverage in this state 10 newspapers 6 TV stations as any pro sports team.

If that is the case..then will they be drafting Hilton and Boone at 20 and 29?

Boone is not my favorite, but he played at a big time program, has won, is a high IQ player, good kid, can defend, will play hard, we need more kids like this...

I love Boone. Boone at 29 is an absolute steal. I agree he shouldn't be automatic at 20, depending on who slips. But I think it's highly likely New Jersey takes him at 21 or 22.

Interesting points. It wouldn't surprise me if that were the case. We know Cablevision cares only about $$$

....or trying to trade up for Marcus Williams...

but no, I think Boone fits a very obvious need on this team. He would fill the AD role, and like, not suck at it quite as much. But our big winning streak came with AD starting and covering on D for Curry. Frye and Curry are both fantastic scorers who need help on the board and with rotations. Boone and Lee are perfect for this role.

it's not a bad comparison. Boone seems thicker, had a better frame to add weight. I think of Boone as being far more fundamentally solid. I could see him developing into a real intimidator down low. This team desperately needs a guy like Boone.

Udonis Haslem might be a decent comparison too.
