We've already spoke ad naseum about the Eddy Curry trade
(which I still think Isiah should be fired for trading the #2 pick).
But how about our #32 pick to Houston for that bloated contract of MoT's.
I know ok, its just the #32 pick. But remind me why the hell WE're giving
THEM a pick instead of the other way around for taking that P.o.S. contract
off their hands?!!!

Idiots who liked the MoT trade man up one more time!!!

Aside from the first round swap next year, can anybody tell me what other future draft picks have been traded away?

getting a solid bench player in a draft loaded with 4 year CBB players with pick 32 is nowhere near a valuable as Mo T's expiring contract. Nor can you put a price tag on everything he's done for this franchise since he's been here.

I know we overpaid for Fat rump Curry, but its hurts that much more given that Larry Brown basically threw the season in what amounts to a power play that will blow up in his face (result: he'll get fired, has been embarrassed, will still get paid----desired result: was that he'd get IT fired & the roster would turn into a bunch of Aaron McKeys, Haywood Workmans & Eric Snows.

You're joking, right? He wasn't expiring when we traded for him!
When we got him he had 2 1/2 years on his contract! That was a
salary dump. Houston should have been made to throw in a pick, not
the other way around!

I hope you're being sarcastic. Esp. the "everything he's done for this franchise" bit.
I think I might puke.

I'm not worried at all...I stand by it all.

GO KNICKS!

We won't need those picks by then because we'll be deep in the playoffs. Also, zeke has an uncanny ability to acquire picks...any chance someone can research the picks we have?

The chitown swap pick counts btw.

when will the bitching end?

This 2nd overall pick hurts b/c LB made it hurt...Chicago's 2nd pick s/b a mid rounder, but LB dogged the season in a way I have never seen any coach do. The Mo Taylor deal is a papercut in the big scheme of things. The 2nd rounders along the way are typically inconsequential.

no, just one pick that's protected through 2009, but becomes unprotected in 2010.

Typically, but not always.
See Gilbert Arenas, Manu Ginobli, Tony Parker (almost), David Lee (almost), etc. etc.

no... some other mental case that loves Mo T and Jerome James. I think he's got a fettish for overweight black men.

On a serious (ok.. I'm trying) our GM got Mo Taylor because his contract expires this there, whatever the hell that means. Lets see now what he does with it. Cant hardly wait.
