barbosa is a great scoring backcourt player and is a budding star but if he continues at this pace, will they ante up for him? they need to extend diaw as well.

so would you trade barbosa for a mid lotto pick (maybe barbosa to atlanta for #5 or houston for #8) and take patick o'bryant to give them some more length in the frontcourt or maybe a little lower in the lotto to take shelden williams?

and then draft a point or combo guard with their #21 pick (like a mardy collins or douby?)

TT is a free agent.

That's what I've heard, but I wonder if they'd need to package that pick at 21 with Barbosa to get into the lottery. I wonder if a lotto team would ask for that, if I were Phoenix I'd say Barbosa is as good as lotto pick and try to trade up.

If they can add 2 quality players in the draft, re-sign who they need, and bring Amare back, that is going to be a good squad next year.

No way. I groom Barbosa to take Raja Bell's place soon down the line.

Yes.

They have to.

I've been on the ESPN board trying to explain to Suns fans that almost all of Sarver's money is tied up in the franchise, so he won't dare go over luxury tax.

In order to avoid that for the next 2 years and be able to resign Diaw, they need to trade Barbosa, Kurt, Jones, and Grant for expirings.

Barbosa, Jones, and Grant to Atlanta for Salim, Donta, and a Fut. 1st is 1 step.

Kurt for an expiring is the next...
DLee is the best thing to happen to NY in Isiah's 4 year tenure. And that alone, though a positive on the radar, is sad as hell.

I read somewhere that believe it or not, Marion could be the odd man out. The owner wants to resign TT and with the emergence of Diaw, Marion is expendable.
We could be the Dallas Mavs of the East.
