And he said he talked to an agent who would know and the agent said Ben Wallace will not be back with Detroit next year. Would it be out of the question to talk trade with Detroit?

Mo, and both picks for Wallace and Dale Davis (he has one year at about 3.5 mil left after this year) or Mo Evans, 2 yrs left at about 1.5 mil. Then we can put Ben(who will be 32 in September) at his natural PF position.

What do you guys think it would take to get Wallace and would you make the deal?

Ben on the right team makes a ton of sense.

Im not sure this is the team because I don't know who is coaching, who is the GM, and what direction we are going.

Ben looks good on any team that collects names!

Here is how it goes, Ben signs with the Nets and says he would have come here if we still had Larry.

Ben would fit beyond perfectly in Chicago, I think the feeling would be mutual too, the Bulls need frontcourt help bigtime.

it would probably take a max or very near to max contract to sign Big Ben in the first place, which means there's zero chance DET takes back any of the crap we have on our roster making that type of dollar to make it work under the cap

Frye, #20 and Jailen can get it done if Pistons retool. Ben next to curry would be huge.

Ben can be Larrys muscle in the lockerroom.

i don't see DET being interested in Frye when they already have Rasheed & Dice backing him up... plus Frye is not the type of player that they would target if they lost Big Ben... they'd need a defensive presence down low & a banger... Frye is the complete opposite.

but i agree w/u having Ben in the lockerroom would be huge, not only from LB's standpoint, but also having a guy who wouldn't be afraid to speak up & kick some arse, he could be the next Oakley for this franchise... unfortunately, we all know LB's days are numbered & this franchise is going to cater to Starbury as long as Isiah's still the GM... our philosophy is arsebackwards when it comes to building a winner... no wonder we've been waiting so long for a championship.

Ben here would be sick next to Curry....I have to say that something like a big expiring and picks would be my choice to get it done....I want to keep the youth we have.

Even as high as Jalen and both picks for Ben and some contracts with a few years to even it out.

Frye is not really a starter yet, and rashweed is on the downturn. Dice also is not a starter anymore.

THey can get a banger elsewhere. Just throwing it out there. They might want "flip" kinda of guys anyway. Who knows?

I'm guessing most players will fire their agents if they get them traded here. We will probably have to find a different route but it's nice to play make beleive.

Bip, you think Channing, Nate and David fired their agents already?
