his minutes were somewhat monitored in chicago his final season after the first reported heart incident (in training camp of that season). there were many times this year where curry was just sitting on the bench for long stretches. how much of that could be attributed to monitoring his heart his first year here to make sure he's ok?

and if that's true, and his minutes have to be monitored throughout his career, this deal begins to look worse and worse.

I don't know. I thought he got far more minutes than he deserved this year. Before mid season, he and JJ should have been told to go home and not come back until he was in shape.

eddy's career #'s (5 years)

1846 rebs, 186 asts, 312 blks, 725 to's

in comparison, here's an nba player's first two years in the league (at age 21 and 22)

600 rebs, 79 asts, 206 blks, 145 to's
586 rebs, 135 asts, 182 blks, 184 to's

who's #'s are those? none other than the man known as benjamin...benoit benjamin.

combination of factors

eddy out of shape

eddy in foul trouble way to much

LB not staying with eddy when he ran hot[that was my biggest problem with LB]

line up changes and losing quite a bit

i still dont believe curry should be anything more than a 30-34 minute player anyway, his body cant handle it and we need him long term with his salary.

I thought the sight of him dragging that echocaridogram machine down the court was a bad sign too.

The fact that Taylor and Rose averaged double-digit minutes is sheer proof that Curry was not being played enough. Foul trouble, so what, let him learn to play under pressure! After the first month of laboring, he should've played as many minutes as possible imo. 32-36 minutes would be ideal as a solid starter.

well his minutes in the gym was cetainly suspect and that pretty much dictated his season, sloppy, slow, ineffective for most of the night and ridiculously inconsistant.

I really think Curry's heart problems were do to diet pills. I also think he is a guy that has that potential label but does not have the work ethic to achieve what he is capable of.
