let's say there's an expansion draft. everybody in the nba is eligible to be taken. who are the top 5 picks?

my picks:

1. lebron
2. dwight howard
3. wade
4. kobe
5. dirk

(amare would've been in the running if it wasn't for the microfracture)

1. Dwight Howard - I feel u need a big man inorder to establish a foundation and put players around him that play well with him
2. Dwyane Wade - the man can ball and has put his team on his back
3. Lebron - will improve plus is unstoppable in the paint
4. Kobe - great scorer...great defender but doesnt play consistently with the team
5. Steve Francis - - the man is unstoppable

nash is the product of a system...a system where he is an excellent general....the man is a good shooter too...but his defense is lacking and i dont see him being as successful running another teams offense....he would be good tho if he was the catalyst of the offense

DLee is the best thing to happen to NY in Isiah's 4 year tenure. And that alone, though a positive on the radar, is sad as hell.

Guys like Elton, Kobe, Dirk, Nash, etc... are a bit too old for my tastes. I like guys with a couple years of low contract value left. These guys are the one's I try to build a franchise around. If I want to win this year, of course guys like Garnett, Kobe, Brand, Nash, Dirk, Marion and AI come into play. But starting a franchise, gotta go cheap and plan to win in a few years.

I apologize for my harshness, but you're on crack if you don't think Lebron would go first.

1) Lebron
2) Wade
3) Dirk (hasn't turned 28 yet)
4) Kobe
5) Duncan- may have lost some luster and is now 30, but you really think an NBA GM would pass him up considering his teamwork, character, track record and the fact that he'd make even an expansion team a contender?

Even though you'd be skewing young in an expansion draft, if every NBA superstar were available you have to think the guys with the top picks are going for a title.

If you notice all my guys have ability make their teammates better as well as being great them selves and 3 out of 5 are great definders, while 4 out of 5 are good rebounders and all 5 can score.

Then you have to take Dirk Diggler and RonRon out of that list. They do not make their teammates better.
