WHY?


Seattle - Times is rough for Seattle. They've been trying to cut costs b/c of ownership "issues". Since they plan on resigning Wilcox, they slash some payroll to do so, and build through the draft instead of having to overpay Rashard in the future. Crawford's a hometown kid, and isn't making nearly as much as Shard will. Plus with the 5th pick, who do you draft?

Brandon Roy. Another hometown kid.


New York - B/c Rashard has All-Star written all over him. That, and b/c we desperately need some outside shooting. He can post up too. Fortson is a 1 year loan, but gives us some nice energy and badass....ness, off the bench. Crawfords been playing well, but our backcourt is stacked as it is, and teams may not bite on Francis. If they do, a trade I personally like is Francis for Tinsley and Croshere.

Atlanta - B/c Ridnour is better than Marcus Williams, and they NEED a PG......

DLee is the best thing to happen to NY in Isiah's 4 year tenure. And that alone, though a positive on the radar, is sad as hell.

i wonder how atlanta fans would like the idea after a brutal season of taking luke ridnour for their high lottery pick

as a knick fan would you be happy with luke ridnour for pick 5? would that make you run out and buy tickets?

I made it a bit more fair, threw the 20th to Atlanta.


Point is --- if youre Atlanta, who would you rather have: Marcus Williams, Randy Foye, or Luke Ridnour?

B/c they NEED a PG.

Briggs is dead on here, no way any team gives up #5 pick for Ridinour and #20. Especially a rebuilding Atlanta squad.
