my dream starters would be:

PG- lowry/rondo
SG- Craw
SF- Shawne Williams
PF- Frye/ *Saer Sene
C- Curry/*Saer Sene

If u have curry in i think u have to have Sene in assuming we draft him. IDK if its possible but could we convert Frye to a SF, kind of like KG??

if so
PG- Lowry/Rondo
SG- Shawne Williams (6-9" plays 1-4)
SF- Frye
PF- Sene
C- Curry

we would be gigantic and atheletic
and have a great defense assuming we are quick enough (frye at SF)

nice lottery team u got there... looking forward to CHI getting our #1 overall pick next year too.

Im not going to disagree with some of that sentiment, but lets go back to this--the gaes of the suns two years ago that won 60 games

we have guys like craw and curry who are going into their 6th and 5th years in the league. when we drafted we drafted guys who were 3-4 yr CBB players. we had a bunch of high quality NBA vets at every position and we won 23 games.
we had a balance in roster age, but the team was awful. to many prima dona's

the bulls are a young team that is ready to get much better as are the raptors

you rebuild and you have to go through a period where you may not be good for 2-3 years and in some cases more.

we went out and spent a LOT of money acquiring veteran players and these transactions were by far the worst.

we have to take a step back to committ to building a team--and really if the talent level of the players is good enough collectively--even at a younger age--they will show signs and they will win games.


you know if curry is this good then we should be winning more games.

thats why i question our VETERAN Leadership---maybe we should continue to get longer and more athletic--ship marbury OUT, possibly francis as well--have new leaders like crawford -we'll have to wait and see about ther 35% q rich--- he showed some signs later in the year--we definitely have some vets to mix in here and there

heck if people are really concerned about usmaking the playoffs--i would again suggest moving marbury and francis and bringing in cassell for 2-3 years and drafting a young PG.

I'm not saying I want a whole bunch of vets, especially like the current crop. I like Lee & Frye. I like Woods & Butler. I like what Craw did late. I even think that there's hope for Curry (despite that fact that he's a mental midget).

That Suns team had Nash...who doesn't seem to need much of anything with regard making people look good. We have nobody who does that. I respect the original poster's draft wants...hey, I can respect that. I just highly doubt any of those rooks end up starters in Year 1.

Furthermore, I'm concerned that Shawne Williams fits in with the current Knick environment (self serving). I'd rather see guys like Mardy Collins, JJ Redick (one can dream), Lowry (per your suggestion), Mike Gansey, David Noel etc.
