the great NY knick teams of the 90s were pretty much a smash-mouth in your face type of team. With the way the nba rules are now, you need a variety of things speed skill mulit-dimensional players to go along with power. I think its almost better to have a 9-10 man rotation, and you cant have laggards--i.e jerome james--or guys who pound the ball into the ground. You need unselfish players who want to run. Look at how many of these guards get right to the basket on dribble drive-that never happened before. You're big men need to be mobile you can have guys who just rebound/block shots/defend but they have to have the ability to keep pace with a game that is getting faster

sorry briggs not to knock you or anything, but posts like the one you just did are whats on the forum everyday except they're rephrased in a different manner.
