So if you want Isiah to coach and you want Brown fired its simple your supporting Dolan who has delieverd four consectutive years under .500

And for some reason Isiah still has your faith, but why and how can anyone who has a

Look at the salary cap situation, everyone says is unfixable? We'll never get under the cap, of course we won't as long as one of the three worst GMs in the game is in charge

Salary that would have been cleared after this upcoming season, making the knicks players in the free agent Market

*Trading Nazy (explanation what do you think it would have cost us to resign him? Malik Rose making 7.5 and JJ make 6, 13.5 for a competant backup center I doubt it Zeke, but for 21 million Mr. Smoothe netted us two picks 29 and 30!)

Crawford deal that everyone applauds look closer (Jerome Williams 7 million against the cap, seven year deal through 2010 where he is making 10 million, signing Vin Baker as a favor to his agent for giving Crawford a deal no other GM is interested in? Then genius trades him for 9 million and three years of Mo Taylor)

So anyway expiring after the 07 season

Allan Houston & Shandon 27million cleared
Without locking Francis in 16million saved
Mo Taylor 9 million cleared
Jerome Williams 6 million CLeared
Jerome James? should have been fired for 6 million saved (not to mention 5 years what a dumb ****)
Malik deal terrible 7 million saved
Jalen Rose 16 off the books

Total: 87 million dollars off the books

Just for fun (Lenny $5mil Anucha $6 mill, Isiah $5mil, franchise value droped at least $30 how much is this mother****er going to cost our team before everyone is completely against him i know there are still supporters out there)

Cap after next season if Isiah qualified 46 million roughly depending ......

And should have had a lottery pick this year as well which would have allowed us to possibly package Crawford or Marbury and get into great position for the future.....

And what would have have other than hope? Young inexpensive talent Woods, Butler, Robinson, and Frye (which we do already but there is a direction) You have Q and Curry left.......

Bring in Jerry Colangelo and thats where we would be.......

the only reason i want to see Isiah coach IF LB is fired is to stop this ridiculous coaching carousel once & for all... if Isiah fails, it's HIS arse on the line, no one else's... these are his guys, this is his vision... let's see what he can get out of it i say... of course, my preference is to stick w/LB at least for another season & get rid of the REAL cancer on this team (Marbury), but that doesn't seem like it's going to happen.

it's not question of IF, it's WHEN he fails. isiah would be a total lame duck and in a position of desperation. he will do whatever to make sure the team wins 35-40 games and say it was never the players. then everyone will be jumping for joy b/c we're on the right track. all that does is keep him around longer. then when that second bump never comes and we fire him, it's 2009, we'll all be left scratching our heads like "wtf just happened?"

as long as Isiah's still here, do you think this situation will EVER be rectified? i don't... i think this accelerates his leaving here if anything... if you bring in another coach & he fails, that just gives him yet another scapegoat excuse to deflect blame on... it's time for Isiah to take accountability for the team he put together.

I'm on board with Dolan firing Brown...I don't know what the hell is taking so long...Yeah, I would also love to see Isiah coach the team...At least we know he will be concern about victories...Please Dolan, buy him out now, buy him out now....

Giving Isiah an additional role would make sense and be consistent with this current ownership. Seeing as how Isiah has failed at every endeavor he's attempted since he was a player he's exactly the kind of guy Dolan and Mills will look to run things.

Also consistent with that would be Brown, who's succeeded in every stop he's been at. Also, after problems with certain players like Iverson and Billups those player went on to have extremely rewarding experiences playing for Brown, and still to this day credit him with some of their development into becoming great players. But why wait for THAT history to repeat itself when Isiah's history is so much more favorable?

I think the results speak for themselves: Thomas Dolan and Mills are doing a great job!!! They should be awarded their positions in perpetuity.

No one (include Larry) in this organization deserves our support. They're gonna have to do something positive while a member of the orange and blue team for me to support them.

I can get on board with that. But..........at some point we are actually going to have to be patient with a winning coach for more than a year while they go through rough times. Why? because rough times are going to be here for a while no matter who is coach if we don't make changes. 38 wins with little upside is not progress.
I just hope that people will like me

look guys... SOMEBODY'S gotta coach this team... regardless if that coach is going to come in & save this franchise or not, this team can't go into another season just like last year's... so unless these players & LB can compromise & Dolan & Isiah can leave LB to do what he does, then we need to figure out an alternative.

its a new year im going to hope and pray it has seen the light--that perhaps some changes in his style of player movement can be implemented--that he can remove team cancers--first that he has to realize that some of these players ARE cancers--namely marbury and that NY fans want him gonzo.
