i know we have 90 PGs and we surely ned to get rid of a few--but if my job was on the line, I think I spend 3 yrs 15mm$ with the last year have guarnteed i.e 12.5mm$

sam is a leader every team sam is wins if we bring in a young PG and get rid of the sht we have now, it could be a nice scenario--sam is clutch sam is everything we dont have. sam is ws and $ if he is looking for 2 yrs 12 mm even if we spend 3 yrs 15mm havent we spent a LOT more on WAY WAY less 10 times over?

there's no way we're getting rid of Marbury if LB is gone & Isiah is still here, u can bet on that.

Unfortanetly, I don't think Same would want to leave a winning franchise to come to a sorry excuse for a team. I know I wouldn't. I have a feeling that many players are going to be turned off from the way this franchise has been run lately. I can't say that I blame them. It's really say. At one point, players would jump at the chance/challenge to play for NY, in the Garden. Not anymore
NY KNICKS 4 EVER! Will we ever find players like Anthony Mason, Xavier McDaniels, Patrick Ewing again? I hope so.

i think Sam would be a nice fit w/the Lakers.

I think almost any team would be willing to give him that kind of contract. To get him to come to the terrible Knicks we'd probably have to do a sign and trade where we pay him 4 times his annual market value.

what is that, your new favorite line or something? who called Sam Cassell a savior on this thread? so are we supposed to not try & bring in players who can potentially improve this team going forward & stick w/what we currently have until all their contracts expire? i don't get your sarcasm here... people only want to try & think of ways to improve this team... i don't think anyone here wants to see a repeat of the crap we endured last season

I'd love sam, but if we can move Marbury & Francis, the last thing we should be doing is bringing in someone as old and worn down as cassell.

Maybe Cassell with other improvements gets us to the playoffs, I'd rather miss with a young rookie who might be part of a championship roster in five years, not retired and coaching.
