Briggs you Seem to know alot about college Ball. How good can this guy be. I remember him coming out of high school he was very good hyped prospect. can he be as good as gay or as bad as Marvin Williams. Here is his nbadraftnet Profile:

NBA Comparison: Walt Williams

Strengths: Has tremendous versatility, at 6-9 Shawne can play from the 1-thru-4 positions ... Advanced offensive game, really understands how to play ... Great one on one skills offensively ... Great vision, passing skills ... Good ball handler, almost second nature ... Can create for himself or others off the dribble drive ... Consistent jump shot, with range out to three point ... A highlight reel waiting to happen ... Extremely long wingspan makes him a terrific rebounder and shot blocker ... Good competitor, doesn't back down from a challenge, as he showed squaring off with Adam Morrison after being pushed ... His body is not far from being NBA ready ...

Weaknesses: Low-release point on his jumper could cause problems at the next level ... Will need to develop better defensive technique, more intensity ... Quickness is very good, but won't stand out on the next level ... Still must add strength and conditioning ...
In the Knick of time. Knickal for Your thoughts.

he reminds me of stephen jackson of the pacers. he cant shoot like jackson yet, but he has that great size at 3--6-9 and he has a goo deal of skill. he is definitely on my short list IF we stay at 20. i dont think you will find that much more potential at 20 hes in there with just a few other guys imho

hes one of those guys who can be drafted at 20 who could end up being a top 3 player in the draft.

it wouldnt be a bad draft if we could do something like this

pick 29 and 2mm to Sac for pick 19

pick 19 sene saer 7-0 235
pick 20 shawne williams 6-9 225

that would give us length on defense we lack for the long term

you could also put in a line up that had q woods and shawne at the same time

if we can get sene for the jerome james role and resign woods and butler to cheap contracts--maybe split the mle on them for 3 years each 3 yrs 2mm per with team option for 4

Sene may not be there at 19.

Bulls & Hornets both have an extra pick and are both rebounding/length starved.

The city of Chicago is the source of much of the heartache for us Knicks fans. Isiah is from Chicago and the Bulls have completely hosed us in trades lately. They'll be drafting our player this offseason and then probably steal someone like Sene.

Isiah's conscious never left Chicago and he found the perfect dolt in Doughlan to help rebuild his home pride
