NY Post - Following a weekend where it was leaked that the Knicks would be buying out Larry Brown, Monday saw a report that had the Knicks and Bulls discussing a trade involving Ben Gordon for one of the Knicks' "elite guards."

This rumor was adamantly denied by John Paxson as a fabrication.

"They give it out to reporters so New York fans think they're out there working," said one Western Conference GM.

Pete Vecsey reports that many arcoss the league are convinced that Isiah Thomas and Brandon Suhr are responsible for the leaks.

Man I am so tired of Isiah's games. The guy just needs to be gone from the New York Knicks franchise, he's done nothing here! Nothing! He's had 4 coaches in his 2.5 year tenure, the guys plan isn't working - but we all know this. What is it going to take Uncle Jimmy to see that Mills and Isiah are ruining this franchise.

Isiah is a sneaky little $hit. Larry may be a Kvetch, but this crap is so consistant.

Feed the public what it wants to hear, starphuch us over and over and get jacked about stupid changes!

Seriously, thru the years they test our patience.

This is not NY team anymore, its a national joke.

The pride of this franchise left along time ago.

I just don't get how Isiah still has supporters on this forum, or anywhere for that matter.

It's surprising, until you read the posts of the Isiah defenders and realize some common themes. I'll leave that to the individual readers to figure out what they are.

Well what are your feeling on this? You have been pretty outspoken about Larry Brown "duping" the fans, how do you feel about Isiah duping the fans by feeding them garbage to get the fans back on his side. Certainly according to your past history you can't be too happy with this.

Please. I'm not supporting Isiah but you can't buy everything you read from un-named, not even quoted sources.

Don't be ridiculous Bonn, if the shoe was on the other foot and the "un-named and not even quoted source" was talking about Brown you would be all over it.

Many members of the media said they were "certain" KG would end up in NY by the end of the season. The media create NY rumors all the time. That's why none of these surprise me. It wouldn't surprise me at all if this latest one were a media creation and some GM or reporter who hated Isiah decided to say Isiah was creating the rumor.

I think the public wants to hear that we have a sound management team with a vision and a plan and the wherewithal to execute it before executing themselves. We're not there yet.
