Which was the worse signing? Spoon or Big Game? Spoon was coming off a solid year w/ the Cavs where he 11 points, 10 rebounds and 1.2 blocked shots in 33 minutes and played all 82 games. Big Snacks was coming off a playoff series where he ate Brad Miller's knee brace, and was able to take immediate advantage posting great #s
Spoon... his head was bigger than the ball
Big Snacks... his departure from Seattle put 3 Krispy Cream stores out of business

Big Snacks by far. If anyone remembered how Big Game got his first contract, it was by stepping up his play in the playoffs about 4-5 years ago and then disappearing the following year after getting paid. Fast forward to last years playoffs and he's doing the same thing again.

Hopefully Isiah won't get fooled again..

I was never a Spoon fan, but I thought he played halfway decently with us and played hard. He was severely limited and out of shape, which was a pain in the ars, but he did the best he could. With that being said, him being out of shape all the time was inexcusable, but Jerome is clearly 100X worse.

I love the title of this thread.

I don't know its pretty damn close. But I got to say Big James is worse. I hated the spoon signing, but at least he was a good rebounder for us. James has done NOTHING.

Layden was worse than Isiah though. He had a core of Houston-Spree-Camby. With Childs comming off the books soon. And role players like Childs,Ward, Kurt Thomas. And had over 20mil coming off the books in Ewing & Dudley. And he ****ed it up. All he had to do was draft solid, stay patient, and use the upcoming money wisley and we could have retooled and remained a balanced deep team. He also had to stay away from giving 30yr old Houston a 7yr 100+million dollar contract. If he was to trade Ewing then do it for an ending contract. This way Ewing gets his wish and we don't sabatoge the amount of cap space we were about to relieve.

its too early to tell, big game has mailed in this season, he has an oppurtunity to perfom.

Spoon is just fat and overpaid the big game is fat, overpaid, and legendary.

JJ was signed because KT was traded and Isiah said there wasn't a market for big men. Layden actually use great signing to describe Weatherspoon. JJ is a funny dude. Anyone who shows up drunk to pratice the day after New Years can't be that bad.
