I got this idea from another thread. I'm surprised we haven't had a poll yet.

Well, we've had several variations on this poll. Every poll that pits Larry brown against someone or something else always comes out about 68% pro Larry to 32% anti-Larry.

I'm like Marbury. I don't care if he comes back or not. I don't mind.

If he were to come back and were to bench players who are lazy on or off the court, I'd have no problem with that. But that's almost like saying "if Isiah were to make good trades and FA signings, I'd have no problem with him as GM!" Given the past year, I can't expect either. Isiah's a lot younger. Maybe he like Baylor will learn from his mistakes. It's possible I guess.

Totally agree. Brown is Brown worst enemy. One question does Brown really want to coach this team. His mouth says yes but all his actions throughtout the season said no. He wants to meet with Dolan for what? To tell him he wants to coach, then come back in the room with an ultimatium or else he's gone. I mean come on. Pick personal fights with players. The man asked the GM not to conduct exit interviews. I mean come on. He can't be serious.

If he did that he'd have been starting our summer league group and benching pretty much every vet. Do you really think Dolan and Isiah would be cool with him benching their 125M worth of glamor players just to run 5m worth of rookies and NBDL pickups? Wouldn't that have been just insulting to Isiah's tenure and approach as everything else he's being fired for now?

So you're saying he tried to be polite to Isiah with the playing time?? If so, it certainly appears that it got him nowhere and was a foolish plan. I can't imagine Isiah telling him to play a throw-in in the Nazy for draft picks deal ahead of his prized lottery pick

Get off of it, Dolan and Thomas would be happy with wins, period. Its terrible that Brown feels that he need player A to win games, while other coaches seem to have no problems at all they are just happy to coach. What's next, what's next, bring in K-Mart and wait he is no longer a guy that Brown wants, you know who fault it is Marbury and Thomas, I mean Lebron James is not his type of guy, Carmelo Anthony ain't his guy, he didn't like Billups, Iverson didn't practice so he couldn't stand him. What will we have, daily updates on whether Larry wants to coach the next game. Too much drama for me.

I am gonna have to say Yes I do and take Bips view. We need to completely change everything about this organization, in terms of the team philosophy and the losing culture and our identity. The young guys will eventually play. Larry is being smart with the young guys. He doesn't want them to be only outplaying Jerome and Mo T, b/c that's easy to do. He wants them to outplay the opponent. I don't understand why that's hard to see.

Curry's young. He didn't outplay many people. Why did he start so many games?

So you're saying he tried to be polite to Isiah with the playing time??

Can you just step back and appreciate the political situation here where rookies and draft picks were outplaying Isiah's 125M "franchise players?"

If so, it certainly appears that it got him nowhere and was a foolish plan.

I see, and if he went with a rotation of Crawford, Nate, Woods, Frye, Butler, and won 29 games no one would lambast him for sitting our "best players" and stars? Nobody would question those moves, including Isiah and Dolan?
I can't imagine Isiah telling him to play a throw-in in the Nazy for draft picks deal ahead of his prized lottery pick

Are you talking about Malik and Frye? I really wish you guys would get off this nonsense. Even with missing the last 20 games to injury Frye still played 1,572 mins to Malik's 1,119. Malik was a 15 mpg player. Big f'ing deal. With the departure of AD he was our ONLY interior defender and veteran mentor/leader/role model and everyone wants him totally disempowered. Seriously, WTF?
