I wouldn't I rather trade the 29th pick to get JR Smith. And make Minn give me their #1 pick for Marbury including all their throw-ins especially if they want the Knicks to pay most of Marbury's salary.

Where do I sign. Use the pick to draft Marcus Williams and I'd be pretty happy.

Hell yes, and I don't think we would have to throw in the 29th pick at all.

YOu don't, Dolan doesn't want to pay for Marbury and take back Jaric and the fodder. He thinks Marbury is worth more than that. Does Jaric contract run longer than Marbury's.

Trading Marbury helps the team immensely. Lets let Marbury go through another coach, eventually one has to work, right? The Marbury experiment should be over, it was worth the risk at the time but after 2.5 years it been one failure after another, time to cut ties.

As I stated Marbury is most likely not on the table because of Dolan but I don't think he has a issue with Francis. I wouldn't give up the 29th pick though.

6 - Williams
20 - Sene
29 - Roby (PJ Tucker)

sign me up, I would do that pick and not give up 29 either, jaric is not a bad player, he had a bad year, but he is not a bad player at all..

I loved the marbury move when we first made it, a few years later, I am ready to ship him out, I am just tired of all the shyt!!!

Successful Scenario
Due to New York and Minnesota being over the cap, the 25% trade rule is invoked. New York and Minnesota had to be no more than 125% plus $100,000 of the salary given out for the trade to be accepted, which did happen here. This trade satisfies the provisions of the Collective Bargaining Agreement.

Trade ID
Every trade made by fans is allocated a unique Trade ID which you can share with friends and fellow basketball fans to allow them to see your trade scenario. The Trade ID for this scenario is 3090324.

IS THAT WHAT YOU WANT ???

ill def. take that trade.

only way to make anything of this mess is to continue to build through the draft and smart economic trades.

At 6 there will alot of solid talent, like Branon Roy, Marcus Williams, Rudy Gay, etc.

Make the trade Marbury and 29 for Jaric, Hudson, bla bla bla, and 6.

Build on 6 players -- Butler, Frye, Nate, Lee, Crawford, and 6th Pick.
DLee is the best thing to happen to NY in Isiah's 4 year tenure. And that alone, though a positive on the radar, is sad as hell.

hell yes i would do it... but Dolan clearly isn't interested in doing it... & Isiah probably wouldn't do it either considering Marbury & he will forever be tied together in the minds of Knicks fans... so this unholy union of Dolan, Isiah & Marbury is going to win together or sink together... guess what i think is going to happen.

I don't know about Thomas not willing to trade Marbury. I think he has tried on 2 occassions if you believe Chad Ford. I think he presented Dolan with the lastest which is this Minn deal and Dolan shot it down.

i have a feeling LB had alot more to do w/that proposal than IT did... why would Isiah put Marbury on the chopping block if he believed LB was going to be fired? i think he tried to appease LB, but Dolan decided all the roster moves would be too much in dollars to accomplish, so he's opting to go the cheaper route & fire LB instead... brilliant ownership we have.
