Allowed Marbury to play the same way he did the season before. With a few adjustments. Like focus more on defense. Which he was better this yr than last. And kick the ball out more *off of his penitration*. Rather than looking to score as much as he did. Then Knicks would have won 40 games on that alone. I don't know why Larry Brown tried to turn Marbury into Eric Snow. Or maybe thats what Larry Brown was trying to do. But the communication wasn't there and Marbury turned himself into Eric Snow minus the defense.

Also if last season instead of Muhammad we had Dalembert, Camby, or Pryzbilla. Or instead of Tim Thomas we had Nocioni, Diaw, Najera, Jermaine Jones, or Patterson. The frontcourt would look like Pryzbilla/KT/Jones. And Larry Brown was coach. Marbury/Crawford as the guards. And Marbury played the same exact way with no changes to his game. Then we would have made playoffs. Larry Brown would have got the most out of the defense. Marbury & Crawford would have carried the offense.

An offseason plan to bring the Knicks back. #1 would be to keep Larry Brown.
#2 Trade Curry for Dalembert, or to ATL for there pick, Or to seattle for Fortson and there pick
#3 Trade for Kmart, Trade Crawford, Taylor, James for Kmart, Najera, Nene.
#3a package Nene & M.Rose for Ratliff & future pick.
#4 Trade Francis & Q to cavs for Larry Hughes, Snow, & future draft pick
#5 If we traded Curry for Dalembert then use the Denver pick & Spurs pick to draft guys that would fit in Browns system. Preferably a shooter though. If we got the pick for Curry then draft a big with one of the picks.
