Ever play golf. You can self teach yourself. Maybe even do ok.

Then go get lessons and learn the right way. Change the mechanics and all. ON the range with instructor you can see right away how far and straight it can be.

Then you play and you do worse!

It takes time to burn it in the right way.

If you revert back to the old way you see you might hit it better, but you'll never get it consistant and never reach your full potential.

Knicks are a golf swing.

Can change the clubs, change the isntructor, but if your not gonna commit to changing the swing, you not going to get better.

Are you proposing keeping the roster then? You think Marbury, Francis and JRose can swing the LB way? And that sluggish chowderhead Curry? Are we talking a change in mechanics or personality transplants?

oh I like that. Worse first to get better? But the coach is only supposed to coach wins. It's his fault!

Don't forget to add in that you really don't want to be taking lessons, you hate the instructor, and you're dying to get back to your old way of doing things.

I was like that as a kid. I remember my dad taking me bowling and trying to coach me on my delivery. I took it as criticism and just wanted to have fun doing it my way. Who cares about gutter balls, I just wanted to heave the thing and see what I could do. Unfortunately there weren't many more lessons after that and I still bowl around 80-100 today, which everyone knows sucks.

I dunno. The Knicks can hardly play basketball correctly. I don't think this is any time for them to be taking up a new sport.

by "reverted" you mean he finally aired things out with Brown, started playing great, got injured, then came back to find two new teammates (Francis and Jalen) who shot too much and didn't wanna play defense? yeah, Marbury sucks! stupid golfbury!

At the start of the season. And yeah, Marbury's body of work speaks volumnes about his winning ways.

Knick fans love to get starphuched.

Its like freaking comic books. Someone is always the villian.........van gundy, Spree, Layden, chaney, shandon, Isiah, Marbury, larry, etc, and we look forward to a new savior. Maybe we can call it "SaviorPhuching".

This season, its Larry vs. GreenGoblinBury! Or some Wrestling mentallity of the good one vs. the depicted bad guy.

Yeah, I am guilty too. We all are in one form or another.
