BucketsBury is not as talented as Poisonbury, but Buckets is not as caustic.

ONe does not trade Dumpbury for value, you just win by subraction.

yeah,
Posted by bobs3304:

For all of Musclebury's faults, he's better than Ricky Davis.

Marbury - 2 All Stars
Davis - None.

And all this is a moot point, caz apparently KG has demanded a trade.

That's not a good arguement. The one Bonn presented is also bleak but 10X better. Can't judge a player based on all star appearances.

Personally, I still like Marbury better than Davis, as players. I think both are head cases, but Marbury is overall, a smarter player.

Ricky Davis plays D & isn't the primadonna that Marbury is... he'd be a much better fit for the type of team oriented attitude that LB is trying to implement here.

First of all, screw Larry Brown.

He needs to retire or take over an OLD, STALE, PLAYOFF team.

He's no longer competent enough to handle young teams. When's the last time he actually had a project?

Maybe what, 7 years ago?

And for the record, Marbury is a more dominant player than Ricky is.

That's a fact.

DLee is the best thing to happen to NY in Isiah's 4 year tenure. And that alone, though a positive on the radar, is sad as hell.

on offense, no question... Ricky's clearly the better defender.

Ricky is the more athletic and versatile defender............WHEN HE WANTS TO BE.

Marbury can be every bit as good a defender against smaller guards when he wants to be.

Difference is Davis is guarding SG's and SF's, which is more noticeable in today's game since the implementation of the hand-check rule.

Btw, BACK on topic ---

I really do think we can pawn Francis and Marbury on the Grizz and Wolves.

Think about it -- not only would it bring huge publicity to both teams, but it gives them exactly what they want, without having to give up too much talent.

Memphis get their scoring Center + slasher go-to-guy. If I was them of course, I'd rather send out Miller+Cardinal+Stoudamire instead of Jones and Cardinal, but that's just me.

They could sign someone like Matt Harpring to the MLE.

'Sota could make a killing this offseason. Keep McCants. Keep the 6th Pick and draft a wing. Trade Griffin and Hassell for Magloire.
Instant playoff contender, with Marbs and KG leading the way.

For us, we have a nice 3some in Davis, Crawford, and Curry in the starting lineup, all under 26. Then the rookies -- Frye, Lee, Nate. For us its about BUILDING A CORE.
