geoff petrie is a top notch gm. one of the best in the league. if he felt adelman wasn't the guy, then i trust his judgement. it's funny b/c adelman's teams never really played defense and couldn't get the stops it needed to get over the hump (sac vs. lal,game 7).
and looks like one of the reasons he was let go was b/c he didn't emphasize defense. and it looks like petrie does want the team to play defense. hey, defense wins championships.
Obviously you didn't read what he said about Brown. Nice touch too, so called defensive geniuses. BTW, it did take Brown 20 years+ to win a championship and lets face it. Like my old signature said, that was a premier team long before Brown got there, and looks to be even better this year. And I wouldn't call Flip no defensive genuis. So take all that with a grain of salt.
