By naming Lautenberg, Democrats violate a NJ statute and the US constitution calling for special elections in case of vacancy. In this case, another primary is in order. With due respect to Lautenberg, our representatives in Congress and Senate should be elected, not appointed. The Republicans are right to challenge the court ruling.
On another note, Democrat Senator Jim McDermott of Washington has implied that an enemy, Saddam Hussein, could be trusted but his own American President, George Bush, could not.
Four more Democrats are in hot seats. These are the same Democrats who played Hillary politics and said, "it depends on what the meaning of the word IS is". These are the same people who supported an incumbent just so they can maintain the Senate majority. Mind you, however, that the incumbent, Torriceli, was kicked out of student office in college because of election fraud and has been grandstanding ever since.
Given our current foreign affairs, imagine if Gore were President and the Democrats had control of the House.
