i dont think there is a chance in hll we can get him---supply and demand--he is a unique player in this draft and like BG could easily end up going 3-5

hmmmm, let's extrapolate this one... maybe Isiah thinks the Twolves can move their pick for Marbs and NY can land the #6. Could be, could be.

He is one of only a few who can really step in and start in the NBA right now from this draft. He has a lot of Steve Nash in him-- hes a big PG and started shooting the ball like a sniper FG% wise late in the year--but the main thing with him is he is a true leader and a true pass first PG
with a high IQ. I posted on real GM a few months ago that I thought he was better than Rudy Gay.

is #6 high for him? if he's really in that territory, then no way toronto let's him get by.

Hmm.. will Brown sign off on Williams? Character issues are there. Skilled wise no question a must have. Briggs any reports about Brown's input in these workouts because he indicated that he wanted to take a very active role in them.

guess that would mean that no Mike James for TOR. I think Bosh really wants James on the team but if Colangeo is smart he takes Williams and does a sign and trade with James.

everything colangelo has been saying points to mike james gone. he's not sold on him, and he shouldn't be. the dude is a combo guard that wants the cash and the rights to run a team. and he's 31. i think he's moved in a s&t. maybe to the lakers for mihm + pick.

^ Mike James is Bobby Jackson is Damon Stoudamire.

the grizz wont advance past the spurs and suns and mavs of the world if they dont have another star.

period.
DLee is the best thing to happen to NY in Isiah's 4 year tenure. And that alone, though a positive on the radar, is sad as hell.

I agree briggs, I like marcus williams, he has all the tools to be a fantastic PG right away, but I would not mind getting lowry, who is pitbull on the court, fast, good defender and ball mover...

Marcus Williams is THE GUY I want from this draft. But thanks to Isiah, we're not getting him.

Williams understands how to run an offense much better than any other guard in this draft. he is a top 10 pick.
the stop underrating David Lee movement 1. FIRE MIKE 2. HIRE MULLIN 3. PAY AVERY 4. FREE NATE!!!

I am manning up!

I don't see any guarantee Marcus Williams will stick in the NBA let alone become the star many think he will.

oohah

Good luck Mike D'Antoni, 'cause you ain't never seen nothing like this before!

Isiah may just be thinking he can move up with someone else - we have a few expiring deals and two picks, we should be able to move in a weak-ish draft.

man, draft day can't come soon enough.

briggs, man, welcome back, haven't seen you in a while.

If Isiah truly wants to move up, I wouldn't be surprised if Nate or Lee is packaged with the two picks.

they may believe that a player like marcus will get more out of the talent level of the team than our current PG's. He has a very high basketball IQ and while he isnt the most athletic guy nor the best defender--his particular PG skill level and leadership abilities certainly are missing ingredients[among many others] on this team

there is no doubt he would make guys like curry lee frye etc... better by getting them the ball in the right spot at the right time--he is the opposite of marbury and francis at that position. those guys want to score first, he wants to pass first but also started to increase his scoring ability quite dramatically last year as a secondary option to his game.

RIP Crushalot😞
